Palak Paneer Recipe | How to Make Palak Paneer Recipe
Material:
- 500 grams spinach
- 200 grams cheese
- 2 green chilies
- 1 tsp refined oil
- Asafoetida
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp kasoori methi
- 1 tomato finely chopped
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1 garlic
- 1 tsp ginger
- 2 teaspoons cream or malai
- Red chilli (to taste)
- salt to taste)
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp lemon juice
How to make palak paneer?
- Before making Palak Paneer, wash the spinach leaves thoroughly and cut them into fine pieces. Boil spinach in salted water for 2 minutes. Take out the lightly boiled spinach in a strainer.
- Now make a paste by grinding spinach, ginger, green chillies and 1 tsp water in a mixer.
- Heat refined oil in a pan on low flame, add paneer pieces and fry till they turn light brown. Now put these paneer pieces outside on napkin paper so that it absorbs the oil.
- Fry finely chopped onions in hot oil until they turn light brown. After frying onion, add tomatoes. – Now add the prepared paste to fried onions and tomatoes. Now cook this mixture for some time. Add 1/3 cup water and cook on low flame till it boils.
- Mix this entire mixture well. When it starts boiling, add paneer to it and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Now add Kasoori Methi and lemon juice and mix. Lower the flame and add the cream.
- Now let it cook for some time on low flame.
