Onion Dosa Recipe | How to Make Onion Dosa Recipe

Material:

  • 1 cup semolina
  • 1 cup rice flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 onions
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt to taste

How to make Onion Dosa:

  • To make Kanda Dosa, first take semolina and rice flour in a bowl. – Add water to it and make a mixture.
  • – Add finely chopped onion, green chilli, salt, cumin, ginger etc. to the prepared mixture and mix. Beat the mixture well.
  • – Keep the vessel covered for some time. – Now take a non-stick pan and keep it on the gas to heat. Apply some oil on it. Take 1 tablespoon more of the mixture and spread it all over the pan. Spread the batter thinly so that your dosa becomes good.
  • – Now apply oil all around and after frying on one side, turn it.
  • – Cook the dosa until it turns light brown on both sides. – After roasting from both the sides, take out the dosa in a plate.
  • Make dosa like this from the entire mixture. Your delicious and tasty onion dosa is ready. Serve with hot sambar or chutney.

  • The consistency of the batter is also very important to make crisp and thin dosa. So try to keep it as watery or thin as possible and fry the dosa on low to medium flame for best results.
